A £3 million refurbishment project at Liverpool’s 20 Chapel Street office development has now reached completion.
A transformation of the 12th floor has marked the end of the wider programme of internal works.
Commercial property firm Canmoor has undertaken a rolling programme of works to the 15-storey Grade A building over the last 15 months, with the conversion of the floor from two separate office suites to a single 7,917 sq ft floorplate being the final stage.
The overall project has included improvements to vacant floors, communal areas and WCs along with the complete transformation of the ground floor reception area to include a new café occupied by Bean Coffee.
Sam Walker, director at Canmoor, says: “Liverpool’s shortage of Grade A office space has been well documented, and this was why we felt investing in 20 Chapel Street, which holds such a prominent position within the city’s commercial district, was so important.
“Feedback from tenants on the upgrade works has been very positive and has generated increased interest in the remaining 25,000 sq ft of available space.”
