A long-vacant commercial unit in Liverpool city centre could be converted into an apartment under new plans submitted to the council.
The ground floor space, which sits below an apartment complex at 35-41 Bridport Street, has lain vacant since the development was completed six years ago.
An applicant named as Silver Fern Design has applied for planning permission to convert the empty space into a three-bedroom residential apartment.
Located in the heart of the city centre within walking distance of Lime Street station, the building currently comprises 28 residential units and three commercial spaces.
It sits beside the Bridpoint Apartments, a complex of serviced apartments located at 29-33 Bridport St which were designed by Merseyside-based Bridscape, the same company behind 35-41 Bridport Street.
