North West jewellery designer and manufacturer David M Robinson (DMR) has announced a partnership with the 2019 Betfred British Masters.
The Liverpool-based firm has signed up to be an ‘official supplier’ of the forthcoming tournament at Sefton’s Hillside Golf Club as it continues to mark its 50th anniversary.
The backing will see DMR play a starring role throughout the 8-12 May golf competition, hosted by the area’s star player Tommy Fleetwood (main picture), with the jeweller also awarding a £20,000 diamond necklace to the competitor with the most combined birdies and eagles.
DMR has also provided products and showroom vouchers as prizes for the Betfred British Masters’ Pro-Am tournament, when its managing director John Robinson and general manager Karl Irwin will join forces with South African international rugby player and Sale Sharks scrumhalf Faf de Klerk in a team.
Rory Colville, championship director of the 2019 Betfred British Masters, says: “The Betfred British Masters has a true North West feel, with Tommy Fleetwood as host and Betfred as title sponsor, so we are grateful to David M Robinson for being an official supplier of the tournament and for providing luxury prizes for our Pro-Am.”
John Robinson adds: “Currently celebrating a hugely exciting 50th anniversary year at DMR, the opportunity to support the Betfred British Masters taking place on our doorstep was one that we could not miss.
“Hosted by local favourite Tommy Fleetwood, we are thrilled to be able to invite many of our clients from across the region to join us at Hillside Golf Club throughout the tournament, cementing our commitment to the sport.”
