Luxury jewellery designer and retailer David M Robinson (DMR) has announced the opening of its 5,000 sq ft flagship showroom in Manchester.
DMR says the St Ann’s Square project, the largest expansion in its 50-year history, heralds an exciting time for the business.
Set across two floors, linked by a stone staircase descending under a installation by lighting designer Tom Dixon, the newly reopened showroom features expanded brand areas for Rolex, Tudor and IWC located on the ground floor.
On the lower ground floor, an additional Rolex space allows visitors to see into the heart of the showroom’s watchmakers workshop.
Meanwhile ‘The Lounge’ adds a new space for DMR, equipped with a library and bar area, allowing the opportunity to host a variety of lunches and events within the showroom.
The showroom also features expanded workshops for both a master goldsmith and watchmaker.
John Robinson, DMR managing director, says: “The opening of our new showroom in Manchester is the perfect way in which to celebrate 50 years of DMR.
“Focusing on creating a space that provides the luxury experiences expected by our clients, the showroom introduces our friends to the story of DMR, told in a truly modern environment.”
Established in a Liverpool workshop in 1969, DMR has four showrooms across the North West and London.
