Nearly 900 industry competitors and supporters headed to Salford’s MediaCityUK for the second annual JLL Property Triathlon North.
We’ve rounded up a gallery from the event which was jointly sponsored by JLL and The Peel Group and raised a total of £25,000 for charities as first-time triathletes and more experienced participants joined in.
The 2016 running, swimming and cycling challenge also paid tribute to Living Ventures chairman Tim Bacon and his nephew Jett Bacon, who died earlier this year, with Peel sharing half the funds between The Christie and the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital charities which cared for them.
JLL’s nominated charity Starlight, which grants wishes to seriously and terminally ill children, benefited by receiving £12,500 share of the final total.
Steve Hogg, lead director of regional residential at JLL, says: “We’ve had nothing but positive feedback from entrants since the event which is fantastic and helps us to continue building the triathlon for next year.
“I’d like to thank everyone who took part, along with our organising team and volunteers for helping to establish the Property Tri North as the main industry event in the North.”
