This year’s Knowsley Business Awards winners revealed

Hundreds of property and business guests celebrated a year of success last night (23 November) as the annual Knowsley Business Awards took place.

The event returned to the Grand Marquee in the grounds of Knowsley Safari Park and marked the borough’s 2017 achievements in property development and investment to retail, transport and logistics and SMEs.

Liverpool City Region Metro Mayor Steve Rotheram was among the attendees at the glittering ceremony, which also saw hundreds of guests from property firms and locally based businesses enjoy a lavish meal and spectacular entertainment.

The evening followed a ‘One night in Bangkok’ theme, with lanterns lighting up the room and a fire-breathing dragon among the performers. Plus there was a fundraising prize draw and the auction of a football boot signed by sports icon Lionel Messi to raise money for charity.

Winners on the night were chosen by a panel of judges which included representatives of Knowsley Place Board and Knowsley Council’s chief executive, Mike Harden.
