Canter Levin & Berg has ‘re-committed’ to Liverpool’s 1 Temple Square as refurbishment plans are lined up for the site.
The law firm, which had been considering relocation, has signed a new 10-year lease on its 7,800 sq ft space across two floors, as MCR Property Group prepares to improve the Dale Street building.
Martin Malone, chief operating officer and partner of Canter Levin & Berg, which has six partners and 50 staff, says: “We were initially keen to relocate but 1 Temple Square offers us a very central and attractive location for the business and we were impressed with MCR’s plans so decided to re-commit to the building.”
Karl Kiernan, aquisition and asset manager at MCR Property Group, adds: “We are delighted that Canter Levin & Berg have decided to stay in 1 Temple Square and are looking forward to completing the refurbishment and attracting more high quality occupiers to this fantastic building.”
Mark Worthington from Worthington Owen acted for Canter Levin & Berg in the deal.
MCR Property Group was unrepresented.
