A prime employment development site in Crewe is being brought to market with a £2.5 million guide price.
Located on the eastern side of University Way (A5020) in close proximity to Crewe Railway Station, Crewe Business Park and Orion Park, the 12.75-acre site is within the modern manufacturing and distribution development units.
The site benefits from 360-metre frontage to University Way with an access and internal distributor road already been constructed to allow for development and potential sub division.
Speaking about the development opportunity, Stephen Wade, director of commercial property consultant Legat Owen which has been appointed to sell the site, says: “Quality development opportunities of this nature rarely come to the market in Crewe. The town is thriving on the back a strong local economy.
“Investment activity has definitely been spurred by the government’s announcement in November that the northern section of HS2 to Crewe is to be completed by 2027, six years earlier than originally thought.”
There is already an allocation for employment use or uses associated with the Manchester Metropolitan University Crewe Campus.
