Network Space has submitted plans for a new 23,069 sq ft employment unit in Liverpool’s Vauxhall area.
The commercial real estate developer has identified a plot of previously developed land between Carruthers Street and Pumpfields Road.
Proposals submitted to Liverpool City Council by the Newton-le-Willows- headquartered company outline B1 (business), B2 (general industrial) and B8 (storage and distribution) uses for the unit.
Plans also include ancillary office space and a 51-space car park.
According to document included with the application, the 0.7 ha plot on which the proposed building would be located is currently undeveloped but has previously had various uses including as a scrap metal yard, a sausage casing facility and a tannery.
In June, work on the second phase of Network Space’s Alchemy Business Park scheme in Knowsley got underway.
Expected to complete in May 2019, the units will feature large self-contained and segregated yards, offices and car park provision.
