A new property investment and regeneration company has been launched with an aim to transform the North West’s “unloved buildings”.
Set up by chartered surveyor Michelle Rothwell, who has previously worked at Capital & Centric and CBRE, the Manchester-based firm Watch This Space will have a focus on sustainability and the environment.
Rothwell, who was involved in Capital & Centric’s £25 million Littlewoods Studios and Tempest projects in Liverpool as well as the acquisition of the 20,000 sq ft Crusader Works next to Manchester’s Piccadilly Station, says: “The North West is awash with fantastic opportunities and that is why I decided the time was right to launch my own business.
“The aim of the business is to build the future we all imagine living in.
“We are now looking to invest in unloved buildings and sites and we want our legacy to be one of transforming them into iconic landmarks where people can be inspired.”
The firm has set up a Kennedy Street base in Manchester city centre.
