Cabfind has secured a new Grade A base marking “one of the largest office deals to have been completed in Birkenhead since 2014”.
The business travel management provider is relocating to a 10,500 sq ft space at 12 Quays House from its Egerton House site in the town, having signed a 10-year lease.
Agents Legat Owen and Mason & Partners acted on behalf of the site’s owner Avon Capital Estates in the deal, which follows a refurbishment of the site to create accommodation over two floors.
Until recently the building was solely occupied by the Astro Physics Research Institute, which forms part of Liverpool John Moores University.
William Sadler, director of office agency at Legat Owen, says: “Following the departure of the previous tenant, Avon took the wise decision to invest in the property to bring it up to an extremely high standard and has been rewarded with this letting, which is one of the largest office deals to have been completed in Birkenhead since 2014.”
M J Newton advised Cabfind in the deal.
