Plans to convert a kitchen showroom on Jamaica Street into a boutique hotel have been revealed.
Proposals from a Liverpool-based property developer also include a café, restaurant and a multi-storey roof extension.
Living Brick, which is behind a 47-apartment scheme in the Ropewalks, has submitted a planning application for ‘Baltic Hotel’ to Liverpool City Council.
Listed as a ‘current development’ on its website, the developer describes the project as one that will provide a “much needed hotel for the Baltic Triangle”.
Currently occupied by Baltic Kitchens & Bedrooms, 16 Jamaica Street is situated across the road from the Artesian building.
It’s not known as this stage how many rooms the hotel would have.
A video posted on the Living Brick website shows how the new hotel could look if given the go ahead.
