Part of Liverpool’s 20 Chapel Street could undergo a major revamp under new plans.
Proposals have been put forward by owner Canmoor Group which could see the building’s reception transformed into an open plan lounge complete with a café.
The existing Joints & Points medical centre, accessed from Rumford Place, will be utilised as part of the new reception.
The new café would be open for both the building’s office workers and the public.
Canmoor purchased the 13-storey city centre office building for over £20 million on behalf of British Airways Pension Trustees Limited (BAPTL) earlier this year.
Current tenants include Liverpool Football Club, Broadway Malyan, Ernst & Young, Barclays Bank, Police Mutual and RSM (Baker Tilly).
