Wirral Council’s planning committee is expected to approve plans for three more industrial units at Riverview Business Park (pictured).
Redsun Developments wants to expand its Bromborough scheme which is part of the wider Wirral International Business Park.
The three units, which would encompass the full range of business/industrial uses (B1, B2 and B8) and total 7,142 sq m, are proposed for two parcels of vacant scrub land facing the River Mersey.
Units 1 and 2, both 2,921 sq m, are earmarked for the northern plot with the 1,300 sq m unit 5 planned for the southern parcel.
The two plots are separated by other land in the ownership of Redsun which has already has planning permission for two industrial units (Units 3 and 4).
Redsun’s latest planning application states that 70 full-time jobs would be created across the three most recently proposed units.
The first two phases of Riverview Business Park were completed from 2011-2014.
Wirral Council’s planning committee will rule on Redsun’s proposals at a meeting next Thursday (13 December).
