Network Space has sold its Mere Grange Business Park in St Helens for £4.85 million.
The 31-acre, out-of-town site comprises 46,527 sq ft of office space across 10 detatched and semi-detached buildings, and a new 90,000 sq ft industrial development is also being built there.
Squarestone has purchased the part, which is currently home to tenants including Gleeson Developments Limited, Titan Distributions (UK) Limited and Portico Day Nurseries Limited.
The current development of the industrial space across four units is expected to provide up to 300 jobs once complete, with work expected to be finished in June 2018.
Move Commercial also reported last week that Network Space plans to start building an additional 51,000 sq ft facility, which has already attracted a long-term tenant, immediately after the completion.
Meanwhile up to 120 new homes are also planned as part of a residential scheme opposite the park.
Rob Woods, director of the capital markets team at CBRE Manchester, which acted on behalf of Network Spacein the deal, says: “We are pleased to confirm the sale of Mere Grange to Squarestone.
“The planned industrial and residential developments will have a positive impact on the business park as well as creating new jobs for the area and once complete, it will add further vitality to the scheme.”
Cushman & Wakefield acted for Squarestone.
