Further details have been revealed about a new visitor attraction opening inside Liverpool’s Royal Liver Building next year.
The launch of ‘Royal Liver Building 360’ will see guided public tours take place within the famous landmark for the very first time.
Starting in a lower ground floor visitor centre, guests will head to the 10th and 15th floors of the 321ft building where they will be able to enjoy 360° views across the city and the River Mersey.
Operated by Heritage Great Britain, the tour will also take customers inside the building’s famous clock tower where they can watch an “immersive audio-visual experience” projected digitally onto the walls around them.
Allan Leech, CEO of Heritage Great Britain, says: “Heritage Great Britain is unlocking this city icon and bringing it back to life for tourists and residents to enjoy.
“Guests will enjoy interactive displays, including a cutting edge audio-visual presentation in the clock tower showcasing the history and culture of the city.
“Stunning 360° open air views across the Liverpool skyline and River Mersey make this an unforgettable bucket list experience for locals and tourists alike.”
The tour will take approximately 70 minutes and is limited to groups of 14 people per time slot.
Tickets will be made available from January 2019, with the first tours beginning in the spring.
